Cevin Z's breeding features the outstanding bloodlines for which the Zangersheide Studbook is famous. He carries the double crosses of both Cor de la Bryere and Capitol 1 in his pedigree. He was the second highest priced foal from this prestigious stud in 1997. Cevin Z is highly regarded both for talent and pedigree, with an exceptional temperament with which he stamps his progeny. His first youngstock were placed fi rst and second at the Young Horse Championships in 2006. Conquistador II being the only horse to jump consistently clear throughout the Show and therefore earning a Bonus Prize.

Coriall Z his sire is one of the top stallions of the Zangershiede stud with many graded sons and he is a 3/4 brother to the well known show jumping stallion Corrado 1, sire of Indorado. His father Cor de la Bryere is one of the most important stallions in modern show jumping, having sired 88 plus graded stallions, his progeny having won over 2 million pounds in prize money in Germany alone.

Larthago the dam of Cevin Z competed internationally, winning a major class at HOYS in 2003 and the CSI-A CH10 Rotterdam at 1.45m. Among her progeny she has four KWPN approved stallions standing in Europe, all her progeny are fetching high prices and her embryo transplants will cost 25,000 Euros.

Performance

Cevin Z was one of the most consistent 6 year olds in the country in 2003 achieving 4th place in the Foxhunter Championships at the Horse of the Year Show. His international winnings totalled £8000.00 when competing at Lisbon, Chantilly and Vimeiro in 2007, with UK wins at both The Surrey County and New Forest Shows.

Progeny

Cevin Z is proving a serious producer of talented young horses, many now competing at the highest level of both international show jumping and eventing. In 2011 the eventer Borough Penny Z was 6th at Blenheim Horse Trial in the CCI3* and is short listed for the Italian team for the 2012 Olympic Games. Billy Manhattan sold to Norway won the Norwegian 6 Year Old Championships, Billy On Show also sold to Norway was 3rd in the Norwegian Grand Prix. Billy Balou won the Newcomers Final at HOYS with Pippa Funnell. Billy Cevelle now sold to Canada won the 6 Year Old Championships in Dalmar and was 3rd in the Hickstead 6 Year Old Final amongst other goods results in 2011. The Billy Stud's Billy Dinero was joint winner of the 4 Year Old Championships at Addington, while Billy Mexico Qualifi ed for the HOYS Foxhunter Finals a remarkable achievement as he was the only 6 year old to do so and achieved 3rd place in the competition. He was also 4th in Hardelot in the 6 Year Old Championships. Four of Cevin Z's progeny were in the top 10 at the Young Horse Show Jumping Championships in 2010.

He is the sire of Valetto JX an international show jumper who won the 6 bar in Calgary in 2010. Borough Penny Z was the 7 year old British Eventing Champion in 2010 and also placed 5th in the 7 year old European Championships at Lyon d'Angers and Billy Bounce was 3rd in the British Eventing 6 year old Championships in 2010. In 2009 Billy Mexico was joint first in the British Young Horse Championship Final 4 year old section and placed second at Scope in the National 4 year old Championship. Billy Manhattan won the 5 year old final at the Young Horse Show Jump Championships in 2010. Billy On Show jumping at international level was 3rd at The Young Horse Championships as a six year old in 2008 and on the Equine Pathway for 2012. Billy Laden who won The British Breeders Show Jumping Award for 6 year olds for The Billy Stud in 2009 by winning The British Young Horse Championship Final and placed third in The Star of the Future Final at Arena UK.
