BILLY CONGO - Breeding
Billy Congo is by the AES & Irish Horse Board Approved stallion Vechta, who himself is by the famous sire Voltaire.

Vechta’s extended pedigree carries 3 crosses to influential TB stallions Lucky Boy, Cottage Son and Furioso and top level performance sports horses, these performers and progeny includes the great For Pleasure, Heisman, Faust Z and Maximillian Voltucky, Champion young stallion at the SHB (GB) stallion grading.
Vechta was a talented show jumper being placed in numerous Grand Prix, including the Hickstead Derby, and was regularly selected for the British Nations Cup Teams including Rome and Aachen, ridden by William Funnell.
Vechta is now proving to be a top sire of both show jumpers and eventers, fathering Billy Landretti ridden by Pippa Funnell, placed second in the Eventing Young Horse World Championships. Vechta is also the sire of the Billy Stud’s 4 and 5 year old winners of the Burghley Young Event Horse Final 2008.
Billy Autumn the mother of Billy Congo was bred at the Billy Stud. She has also gone on to show great talent, being third at the Horse of the Year Show in the Foxhunter Final and being placed and winning numerous Young Horse classes, ridden by both William and Pippa Funnell, before being sold as an 8 year old to Canada, where she won a car in a competitive class in the international arena at the great Calgary Show.
Billy Autumn’s father Animo and grandfather Clover Hill, Ireland’s most prolific sire need no introduction both having sired international winners too numerous to mention.
BILLY CONGO - Performance Achievements
In his jumping career so far Billy Congo shows great potential, in 2009 ridden by William Funnell he has qualified for the 2010 British Open Championships, was third in the Elite Grand Prix at Scope and jumped two clear rounds in the Queen Elizabeth 11 Cup at the RIHS at Hickstead finishing 5th his first time out in that great arena.
He won the 7 Year Old Championship at the British Young Horse Championships in 2008. In 2007 as a 6 year old he was second in the Young Horse Championships and in 2006 he was third in the same championships for five year olds on this occasion ridden by Pippa Funnell.
He has competed successfully both nationally and internationally and during the Show Jumping Sunshine Tour 2009 he jumped for five weeks without a single pole down. He has to date already won £17,000. He is widely recognised as one of the most exciting young horses competing on the Equine Pathway for 2012.

CEVIN Z – Breeding
Cevin Z’s breeding features the outstanding bloodlines for which the Zangersheide Studbook is famous. He carries the double crosses of both Cor de la Bryere and Capitol 1.in his pedigree. He was the second highest priced foal from this prestigious stud in 1997.

Cevin Z is highly regarded both for talent and pedigree, with an exceptional temperament with which he stamps his progeny. His first youngstock were placed first and second at the Young Horse Championships in 2006. Conquistador II being the only horse to jump consistently clear throughout the Show and therefore earning a Bonus Prize.
Coriall Z his sire is one of the top stallions of the Zangershiede stud with many graded sons and he is a ¾ brother to the well known show jumping stallion Corrado 1, sire of Indorado. His father Cor de la Bryere is one of the most important stallions in modern show jumping, having sired 88 plus graded stallions, his progeny having won over 2 million pounds in prize money in Germany alone.
Larthago the dam of Cevin Z competed Internationally winning a major class at HOYS in 2003 and winning the CSI-A CH10 Rotterdam at 1.45m. Her progeny are fetching high prices in Europe and her embryo transplants will cost 25,000 Euros.
CEVIN Z - Performance
Cevin Z was one of the most consistent 6 year olds in the country in 2003 achieving 4th place in the Foxhunter Championships at the Horse of the Year Show.
His International winnings totalled £8.000 when competing at Lisbon, Chantilly and Vimeiro in 2007, with UK wins at both The Surrey County and New Forest Shows.

Cevin Z is proving to be a great producer of talented young horses. He is the sire of Billy Mexico, the Billy Stud’s exciting young stallion who started his competitive career in 2009 coming joint first in the British Young Horse Championship Final 4 year old section and placed second at Scope in the National 4 year old Championship.
Billy On Show who was placed third at The Young Horse Championships as a six year old in 2008 is on the Equine Pathway for 2012. Billy JJ is an AES Licensed stallion who has made a great start to his competitive career. He is by the world class stallion Animo, described by John Whittaker as the best jumping stallion in Europe after the Barcelona Olympics.

Animo himself had a great competitive career and has consistently produced top class show jumping and dressage superstars including Andaimo Z, Romantico La Siela, Aniapollo and the Billy Stud’s Billy Orange, an international winner and Grand Prix jumper; Billy Birr, placed 12th in the BSJA Leading Horse Ranking List 2008, and the top British Bred horse; and Billy Autumn who had a successful career in the UK with William Funnell before being sold to Canada as an 8 year old, where he won a car at the International show at Spruce Meadows.
